Panza Verde

A whimsical bed and breakfast located in the heart of Antigua, Guatemala. Where my family roots hail! Also, the location of my wedding/honeymoon...so romantic.





Panza Verde, which is green bellies, is not only a hotel, it is also the coined term used by generations of Antigüeños. When Guatemala City became the capital it left many of the locals poor and were forced to eat avocados to survive....(yum)

Just like the Antigüeños, I love avocados on almost anything: burgers, tacos, pasta, sandwiches, soups, smoothies. which is where avocado smile comes from. Avocados make me smile, along with tons other things that I will share with you here....enjoy!
